Seniors welcome a new life as university students, and there love for competitive swimming is a transferable passion that will help carve a path to big hopes and dreams. It is no different for Haruka Nanase, who now starts his studies at HidakaUniversity. However, old, ugly feelings seethed to the surface when he unexpectedly shares the same swimming pool and ambitions of Shiina Asahi, an old teammate from his middle school.
Back in middle school, Nanase abandoned the team when they needed him the most, which led to the disbandment of the team. And though Nanase tries to mend bridges with many of the old teammates, some still cannot forgive him for the transgression, namely Ikuya Kirishima.
And with all this backstory, competitive spirits run higher than it has ever been as Haruka aims his sights on achieving accolades on the international playing field.
