“Batman: Knightfall” animated trilogy set to bring the comic book classic saga to a new generation

The legend of the broken bat is about to get its animated treatment as WB Animation brings the classic DC Comics Knightfall run to the screen. Batman: Knightfall is the coming 3-part movie that will delve into one of the darker eras of the dark knights legacy. One that the animation looks to bring to life.

In the comics, the Knightfall arc when the Dark Knight is forced to taken a hiatus via a broken bat, his stand-in brings in a maniacal, brutal age of Batman, one Robin has to play damage control.

Other than bringing one of the best moments in Batman’s history, one that went on to influence the Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Rises, it also is in the run-ins for bringing into the forefront one of Batman’s questionable suit designs ever laid out.
