“Star Wars: Visions Volume 3” release key art and stills ahead of premiere
Star Wars: Visions releases its key art for the third instalment in the animated anthology that melds the world of anime with the tapesttry of the Star Wars Universe.

We also get a sneak peek look at one particular episode entitled “Black”. Which has clear implications of the style and vision. One image looks like a visual representation of a Jedi MK Ultra Mind trick.

Ohira-san also served as character designer and key animator for “BLACK” spoke on the significance of the style and treatment of the episode for the Star Wars: Vision Volume 3:
We wanted to offer a film that was mainly based on Sakura Fujiawara’s singing voice set against these visuals of intense battles. That was our vision as we made the film. As for the interpretation of the story,” he added, “the viewers, the people watching it, we kind of wanted to leave it up to them…so that’s how we made it.
And seeing Ohira-san track record as a veteran artist spans everything from Akira (1988) to Spirited Away (2001) to Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003), we can put 100% faith that is rendition will be one of impetus.
There are nine episodes slated for Volume 3, all crafted by Japanese anime studios.
