A new epoch in the hell-destined franchise DOOM is coming in 2025, and if you thought things couldn’t get darker, you are undeniably wrong.

Bethesda teases the coming of a prequel in the DOOM franchise–DOOM: The Dark Ages. The coming game gets its official trailer numero uno loosed out into the world, and if you ever wondered what a medieval viking-esque Doomguy would look like… look no further.

Glad to see the Super Shotgun is still a staple. The shield that is also a chainsaw? Feels like the devs had a game of charades that whilst on cocaine that absolutely paid the fuck off.

DOOM: The Dark Ages is slated for release on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC come 2025.
