While Mortal Kombat‘s Red band trailer has broken a few records with the director hoping to take the R-rating to new heights, director Jame Gunn seemingly has plans to match and surpass this with some news of his own… movie-related mind you.

The director just took to his socials to announce the premiere of The Suicide Squad‘s red-band trailer set to go live tomorrow:

Tomorrow. Trailer. See you there. #TheSuicideSquad 🤯 pic.twitter.com/fYUemH181B

And with this also came a new poster for The Suicide Squad that shows a very style 70’s Blaxploitation-y render:

Boom! More as things get released. Check in tomorrow for the trailer premiere!

The Suicide Squad is slated for cinematic release in theatres and on HBO Max streaming come August 6, 2021
