#TAP10 | The penultimate Top 10 Zombie Video Game Franchises
The only control worth having in the chaotic world of the undead is the one in your hands

5. Dead Rising

When it comes to clearing out massive hordes of zombies and the carnivalesque bliss of decimating with hair-balled weapons and schemes never quite loses its appeal with the Dead Rising franchise. It was Zombieland before Zombieland.
And there is most certainly a lot of zombies to go around to get your re-genocide on. You would think the main protagonist Frank West would not have his combat bearings (see what I did there) about him being a photojournalist, but as story progressed and the franchise grew to Dead Rising 4, it is more than apparent that he (and other protagonists) is more than capable of handling himself and a camera. We’ll just ignore the movies this game franchise inspired.
