Not-a-franchise-but-honorable-mention. Days Gone

When it comes to survival horror, Days Gone keeps in the same frustratingly good tradition of Last Of Us. Admittedly, the soul and character attachment is not as lasting as Last of Us.
Nevertheless, the mechanics in dealing with the undead and guiding hordes to wipe out enemy camps to your own twisted benefit like some undead shepherd is still a sneakingly satisfying treat.
And yes a motorcycle is about the least practical of all Z-day vehicles, but who wouldn’t want a hog vibrating between there legs. David Cameron gets it.
