2. Justice League

The seven original members of the league were  Aquaman, Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Superman and Wonder Woman. Since then the team has expanded and rotated with new members throughout the years, but their ideals have virtually remained consistent. Defend Earth against all extra-terrestial threat.

Now the origins of the team has been changed / retrograded thanks to the Flashpoint event and reboots, but the latest is a chance meeting of Hal Jordan – the Green Lantern – and Batman who get into a tussel fighting a parademon. Seeing the parademon was not of earth they meet Superman in Metropolis to recruit his help. Which ended up with the three of them fighting. Blood in blood out. Like any respectable gang.

It is only after some convincing that the DC heroes team up and inadvertently cause more demons from Apokolips to come to earth via tinkering with a motherbox. But as the battle ensued the likes of Aquaman, Wonder Woman and others join in the fight. Then there is that Eureka moment where veryone realises they are stronger together than they are apart.

We could, however, get into the research Batman put into finding the weaknesses of every Justice League member he could manipulate in potentially destroying his own teammates, but that is for another time.
